At Essendon Keilor Gymnastics Academy we have three goals: To Teach Gymnastics, To Make it Fun and To Keep the kids Safe. We are a family owned business and understand what families are looking for at a gymnastics club.  We know preschoolers want to have FUN and have friendly coaches, we know School Age gymnasts want to learn cool new tricks and make new friends and we know Squad / Competitive Gymnasts want to represent the club and they want to WIN! 

At EKGA we do everything possible to make this happen.

Christy Hemphill (nee Rowe) is the club Managing Director and has been coaching for 17 years.  In that time she has had a number of carer highlights and achievements including: having Trampoline Athletes represent Australia at the World Age Games, having MAG athletes Win medals at the Australian Championships,  having teams of WAG Gymnasts WIN Victorian State Pennants and most importantly for EKGA seeing the young gymnasts that Christy has coached,  trained and mentored work their way through the Gymnastics Australia Coaches Course and become successful, qualified, sort after coaches in their own right. 

Many of the biggest achievements at EKGA are what look like the smallest achievements....  seeing a little Kinder Gym kid walk along the balance beam by, seeing a little girl do a proper cartwheel for the first time, seeing a little boy master a chin up.  For some kids these are minor steps, for other kids they are major achievements.
